"Why is painting so important to you, and what are you trying to achieve with it?"That's a question I get asked a lot – and today, I’d like to share my thoughts on it.

I think the title already says quite a lot.

Dreaming in images and colors is simply part of my daily life – just like eating and sleeping. 😉

I paint to recharge my batteries and draw new energy from it.

Others might grab an energy drink, but I need to sit down for at least half an hour, dive into the colors – and boom, I feel just as refreshed.

And let’s be honest, my version is probably healthier and cheaper (well, maybe not cheaper, art supplies aren’t exactly free, but you get what I mean 😉).

This “diving in” is something I need to let go of all the thoughts spinning in my head and focus just on my intuition and feelings. It’s like a vacuum cleaner for the brain – sucking out all the unnecessary noise and leaving me at peace (at least for the time I’m painting).

And this exact feeling – this unwinding, coming to rest, and reconnecting with yourself – is what I want to share through my art. That is my motivation, the message I want to pass on to the world.

Because how often do we rush from place to place, from one appointment to the next, juggling meetings, family, household tasks – and suddenly, it's bedtime again?

Have you even stopped for a second on such a day to check in with yourself? How are you really doing? Are you even happy with all of it?

Probably not.

And that’s how most of us live – day in, day out – without being truly aware of ourselves.

  • How am I actually doing?

  • Where do I want to go in life?

  • Is there something I could improve or shift?

With my art, I want to create moments of calm – moments that give you the chance to check in with yourself, even if just for a minute. To slow down and reconnect with who you are.

My art encourages a mindful relationship with yourself.I know, “mindfulness” is such a buzzword these days, and maybe you’re already sick of hearing it – but it’s just so incredibly important.

Because I have several of my own paintings hanging in my home, I’m reminded of all this every single day. And it really works – I know exactly where I’m going, what my goals are, and how I want to get there. Plus, just looking at the artwork brings a deep sense of peace. What more could you want?

So, how about you? Are you feeling content with where you're at? Or is there a part of your life that’s ready for change, growth, or improvement?

Take a look at my artworks – maybe you’ll find something that inspires you.

And if you have a specific question or a topic you’d like me to explore in a future blog post – I’d love to hear it! 😊
